Karmyn Vaughn, LICSW

I obtained my Masters in Social Work for the University of Southern California in 2005. I have worked in community mental health centers, school counseling and private practice in California, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

I provide a safe space to treat various issues for children five and above as well as adults, families and couples. I often utilize Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, yet I incorporate other approaches depending on my client’s needs. I view therapy as a collaborative experience with my clients whom I walk beside and support during our process together. I assist my clients to focus on their personal goals and provide the tools and encouragement to facilitate positive change and personal empowerment.

I am experienced in a variety of treatment issues such as anxiety and depression, emotional and behavioral problems as well as those experiencing difficult life transitions. I specialize in children yet enjoy the depth and therapeutic relationship with people of all ages.

I have over 25 years of experience exploring personal growth and transformation. I welcome those who choose to bring their desire to explore the deeper meanings of the human experience. I embrace the notion that our lives are meaningful journeys and that our challenges, obstacles and shortcomings push us, often painfully, to bloom and embrace our most true authentic selves.
